Atlas Mountain Mint

 Mentha suaveolens ssp timija

A rare mint, found originally in Morocco, it has small, woolly leaves that can be used in chutneys

The leaves on this mint are much smaller than the other woolly mints I have, with an unusual spicy taste. It is often used in teas.

It is a very viguorous mint, so is best planted in pots on your patio, alternatively, you can sink in your herb garden inside a large plantpot.
