Banana Mint

Low growing with bright green, small leaves. It has an amazing scent and taste of bananas. The scent can often appear later in the season, but worth waiting for

Whorls of small lavender flowers appear in the Summer.

Be careful not to over water this mint. It looks nice planted alongside more upright mints in patio pots, as it has a semi trailing habit.

This mint is slightly less tolerant to frosts, so ideally should be kept in a greenhouse or close to walls over the winter.
