Bowles Mint

 Mentha x villosa alopecuroides

An upright, woolly mint that is a hybrid of Apple and Spearmint. The large creamy white flowers attract all the pollenators in the summer months.

This is a large leaved, mild mint and is ideal for using in cocktails and sauces.

This mint is also ideal for using in salads, a particularly nice way is to slice it into strips and serve as a sandwich filling with cream cheese and cucumber - perfect for those fancy afternoon teas!
